Description
I designed a heliocentric interplanetary transfer orbit from Earth to an asteroid by computing orbital elements, transfer parameters, and maneuver requirements in MATLAB. The project emphasized careful intermediate checks because small early errors in orbital elements compound through downstream trajectory calculations.
I documented the methodology, assumptions, results, and limitations in a technical report.
